Its sunny climate, delicious food, excellent wine and interesting history make Puglia a captivating region just waiting for you to explore

With its crystal blue sea and acres of ancient olive groves, the landscape is very different from the rolling countryside of Tuscany and Umbria.

It is still blissfully Italian - the undiscovered corner of Italy - and has long been known as the country's wine cellar. The region also produces more than half of Italy’s olive oil production.

Ostuni

Ostuni is the nearest town to Villa Aurora and can be reached in 7 minutes by car. It is one of the most stunning towns of Southern Italy with the dazzling effect of its whitewashed houses. Hints of the middle ages are at hand in every corner of the old town, known as la citta bianca - the 'White City'. It is a bustling town, with many shops, restaurants and bars.
